Poster Presentation-"An IoT Based Smart-Warehouse using Raspberry Pi and Arduino"


Abstract:
With the development of projects and the constant demands of the product diversity, traditional warehouse management design cannot meet that, due to its heavy workload and low performance. This paper introduces a new type of intelligent warehouse management system - Smart Warehouse Management System based on the IOT, and expounded the principles and structure of it. This system has great advantages compared with the traditional mode, and we expect good prospects for its development.
Nowadays, In warehouse lots of Common issues like Security, Temperature and Humidity Flexibility, Video Surveillance issues, a different type of gas Density, Dust particle, which produce the worker health and as well as the Items. But in sensitive places like coal-warehouses, it’s very dangerous environment, we all are aware of the conditions like methane gas, Co2 gas, Co gas, Vibration, Fire, Temperature is have effects and lots of workers going to die, so this type of issue should be under control.  So, here are few parameters selected for Monitoring and Control or alert the things like Co2 gas density (PPM) will increase then Alarm will generate. If anybody opens the door then camera take a picture and save in the database. Here Selected Parameters are: MQ-2 Gas Sensor, Mq-8 Hydrogen gas Sensor, Fire Flame Sensor, Temp/Humidity, Pi Camera, Magnetic Switch, Light Sensor, 3-axis Accelerometer, Co2 Sensor, Dust Sensor, Current Sensor. There is a good combination of IoT devices like Arduino and Raspberry Pi. All sensors give real-time data with accuracy and send the data to the cloud. And people will not only monitoring as well as they can control through their mobile application. This is the beauty of our Smart warehouse.
